These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TimeVic (“TimeVic”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By accessing or using TimeVic, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What TimeVic Provides

TimeVic is a time tracking and work management service for freelancers, developers, and small teams.

TimeVic may allow users to:

  • Create workspaces
  • Manage clients and projects
  • Track work time
  • Organize tasks or work items
  • Set hourly rates
  • Generate reports
  • Record payments
  • View earned, paid, and outstanding amounts
  • Use supported third-party authentication or integrations

TimeVic is designed to help users understand their work activity and income status. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.

2. Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account or sign in using a supported authentication provider, such as Google.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information
  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • Maintaining control over your account
  • All activity that occurs under your account

You must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TimeVic to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe the rights of others
  • Upload malicious code or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to TimeVic or related systems
  • Interfere with the operation, security, or performance of the service
  • Abuse, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service
  • Use TimeVic for fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful purposes

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms are violated or if use of the service creates risk for TimeVic, users, or third parties.

4. User Content and Workspace Data

You retain ownership of the information you create or upload to TimeVic, such as clients, projects, tasks, time entries, payment records, notes, and reports.

You grant TimeVic a limited right to process this information only as necessary to:

  • Provide the service
  • Store and display your data
  • Generate reports
  • Maintain and improve functionality
  • Provide support
  • Secure the service
  • Comply with legal obligations

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the data you add to TimeVic.

5. Payments and Financial Records

TimeVic may allow you to record payment-related information, such as amounts paid by clients, unpaid balances, payment dates, and notes.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, TimeVic does not process payments between you and your clients. Payment records inside TimeVic are for tracking and reporting purposes only.

You are responsible for verifying all financial records and for complying with tax, accounting, invoicing, and legal requirements applicable to you.

6. Third-Party Services

TimeVic may support third-party services, such as Google Sign-In or external work management integrations.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. TimeVic is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their handling of your data.

You may disconnect third-party integrations where the service provides that option.

7. Google Sign-In

If you use Google Sign-In, TimeVic may receive basic Google account information, such as your email address, name, profile picture, and Google account ID.

This information is used to authenticate you and provide access to your TimeVic account.

Your use of Google services remains subject to Google’s own terms and policies.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep TimeVic available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, including for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.

9. Free and Paid Features

TimeVic may offer free functionality. We may introduce paid features, paid plans, usage limits, or subscriptions in the future.

You will not be charged unless you explicitly choose a paid option and provide required payment information through an approved payment flow.

If paid features are introduced, additional payment terms may apply.

10. Intellectual Property

TimeVic, including its software, design, branding, and related materials, is owned by TimeVic or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of TimeVic or its software.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works based on TimeVic unless permitted by law or authorized by us in writing.

11. Feedback

If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using TimeVic at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your use creates security, legal, or operational risk
  • We are required to do so by law
  • The service or part of the service is discontinued

After termination, we may delete or retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers

TimeVic is provided “as is” and “as available”.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, availability, accuracy, and non-infringement.

TimeVic reports and calculations may contain errors or depend on user-entered data. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all time, payment, income, and report data.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeVic will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeVic’s total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to TimeVic for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 100 USD if you have not paid TimeVic.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TimeVic from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law
  • Your content or workspace data
  • Your disputes with clients, team members, or third parties

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

Your continued use of TimeVic after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you operate TimeVic through a specific legal entity or jurisdiction, replace this section with the correct governing law and venue before publishing.
